The A1 mini is the printer we recommend when someone asks where to start. It calibrates itself — bed mesh, flow rate, resonance — before every print, so the first thing a new owner does is print something good rather than spend a weekend levelling a bed.
Who it suits
Students, hobbyists and anyone who wants a second machine for small parts. The 180 mm cube covers the overwhelming majority of desktop prints, and the open frame keeps the footprint small enough for a shelf.
What it will not do
The open frame means no heated chamber, so ABS and ASA will warp and carbon-filled filaments will chew through the standard nozzle. If you need engineering materials, look at the P1S or the H2 series instead.
