Surface quality

VFA — Vertical Fine Artifacts

VFA are the faint vertical ripples or lines you sometimes see on smooth printed walls. They come from tiny vibrations in the printer’s motion system as the head moves.

Typical budget printer: Typical budget printers show these ripples on large smooth surfaces.

ZeroCore H2 series: The H2 series — finer-pitch belts and a heavier, stiffer toolhead — damps those vibrations, so vertical surfaces come out glossy-smooth with VFA almost gone. It’s why ZeroCore prints exclusively on the H2 series.
