HONEST EXPECTATIONS
3D printing is a manufacturing process — not a magic box. Here's what's normal, and what we don't accept. Curious how printed parts hold up? See how strong 3D-printed parts really are.
Normal print characteristics
- Visible layer lines on curved or angled surfaces — finer with thinner layer heights.
- Support marks on overhangs > 45° (we orient parts to minimise these).
- Minor tolerance differences ±0.2 mm depending on geometry and material.
- Visible seams where each layer starts and ends — we hide these where possible.
- Slight colour variation between filament batches, especially for matte finishes.
- Strength depends on material, wall thickness, orientation, and model design.
Safety & rejection policy
ZeroCore reserves the right to reject prints that are unsafe, illegal, restricted, or unsuitable for 3D printing.

STL and 3MF only. 3MF is preferred when available — it carries colour, scale and print settings cleanly. Files should be ready to print: watertight, correctly scaled, and oriented as you want them printed (we’ll suggest orientation tweaks if helpful).
