Design functional parts with at least 2–3 perimeters and 20%+ infill, and tell us the load direction — orienting the part so force runs along the layers, not across them, makes a large difference to strength.

Yes, when the right material, wall thickness and orientation are used. PETG, ASA, Nylon and PC all produce genuinely functional parts — we advise on the best choice for your loads and environment.
Which material is best for functional parts?
PETG is a tough all-rounder. Choose ASA for outdoor or warm environments, Nylon for wear and fatigue resistance, and PC for the highest strength and heat resistance.
