We’re a print-only service: if you already have an STL or 3MF of the part — found online or modelled yourself — upload it for an instant quote. If you don’t, you’ll need to measure and model it first; we don’t offer design or CAD modelling, but free tools make it manageable.

If you’re modelling the part yourself, measure the critical dimensions with a caliper before you start — hole diameters typically print about 0.1–0.2 mm smaller than designed, so allow for that if the part needs to fit a shaft or screw. A quick test print of the fitting area first can save a full reprint later.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t have an STL of the broken part — can you model it for me?

We’re print-only and don’t offer design or modelling services. Check Printables, Thingiverse, MakerWorld or Thangs first — the exact part may already exist. If not, free tools like TinkerCAD (simple shapes) or Fusion 360 and Onshape (more complex parts) can get you a model from careful measurements.

What material should I use for an appliance knob or bracket?

It depends on where it lives. PETG is a solid general-purpose choice, ASA if it’s outdoors or near heat, and Nylon for gears or hinges that flex and wear. Avoid PLA anywhere near heat — it softens from around 60 °C, so it’s fine for a cabinet clip but not an oven knob.

Will the replacement part actually fit?

Typical accuracy is around ±0.2–0.5 mm, and holes print slightly smaller than designed (about 0.1–0.2 mm), which usually needs accounting for in the model. For a critical fit, we’d recommend a single test print of the fitting area before committing to the full part.

Is there a minimum order for a single replacement part?

No minimum — we print one-off replacement parts as often as batches. We can keep your file on hand too, so reordering the same part later, if it breaks again, is quick.
