How We Keep Prints On Time and On Spec

Honest dates from a live calendar, a hand check on every file, order page updates and a free reprint within 30 days. What we do, and what we don't promise.

How We Keep Prints On Time and On Spec

Two questions sit behind almost every order: will it be ready when I need it, and will it come out right? This article explains what we actually do to answer both, from the date you pick to what happens if a part isn't right.

We don't promise response windows or sign service-level agreements. What we do is give you honest dates before you pay, check every file by hand, keep you updated on your order page, and put things right when they go wrong.

On time: honest dates, agreed before you pay

The answer to "when will it be ready?" is decided before you pay, not after.

You pick the date from a live calendar

The quote page shows a live production calendar with open collection slots. You choose a date that works for you when you order, instead of messaging to ask. Short prints of under 3–4 hours can often be collected the same day. Most orders are ready within 24–48 hours, and larger prints may need 1–2 days.

If we can't hit it, we say so first

Collection dates depend on machine availability. If we can't make the date you need, we'll tell you before you pay anything. For larger batch runs, share your deadline when you request the quote and we'll confirm a realistic schedule before you commit.

Rush is agreed upfront

If a deadline needs your job to jump the print queue, a rush surcharge may apply. It's always agreed upfront and never added after the fact. For anything tight, message us on Telegram with the date as early as you can.

On spec: what happens before, during and after the print

Every file is checked by a person

Before anything goes on a printer, we look at your model. If a part looks too thin to survive its job, badly oriented, or more expensive than it needs to be, we tell you and suggest a fix. This free file check is there so prints come out right first time. The free file check guide explains what we look at.

Tell us the dimensions that matter

FDM parts typically land within ±0.2–0.5 mm, and holes come out about 0.1–0.2 mm smaller than designed. If a hole must fit a bearing or a slot must fit a panel, tell us which dimensions are critical so we can dial them in. Our FDM design reference covers clearances in detail.

One printer family, consistent results

We print only on Bambu Lab's H2 series. Running one dialled-in printer family, rather than a mixed fleet, keeps surface finish, tolerances and colour behaviour consistent from one order to the next. On a batch, every piece is printed to the same settings, so the last part matches the first.

Photos and dimension checks on request

If you can't inspect the part yourself before it ships, or you're sending it straight on to someone else, ask for photos and a dimension check of the finished print. We'll send them before pickup or shipping.

Confidential designs

If your design is confidential, we'll sign an NDA on request before you send the file. Separately, you keep ownership of every file you upload, and we use it only to quote and print your order.

Try one before a batch

For a batch, you can order one sample print first at the normal price. Test it in the real assembly, then order the rest.

What we won't ship

A customer showed us this part from another print service, which had told them it was normal. Loose strands, curled edges and stringy sloped faces like these mean the overhangs weren't supported or oriented properly. If one of our prints came off the printer looking like this, it would be printed again, not packed. If one ever reaches you, report it from your order page and we'll reprint it free.

Not normal, and not something we'd send out.

Communication: you shouldn't have to chase us

Every order has its own page, linked from your confirmation email and available any time on the track page. It shows the status from deposit, to printing, to ready, to shipped (with a tracking number) or collected. You can get updates on Telegram as well.

Communication is also something customers mention often. Some of what reviewers have written:

  • "Very friendly seller. Fast response, very helpful and flexible. Able to comms easily." (l.s.wei)
  • "Excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure the print matched my specifications." (marrrk91)
  • "Very fast response, and very quick with the prints as well! Turned out in good quality, and colours as promised." (kclawed)
  • "Seller was patient, friendly and responsive! Was quick & got my part printed the next day..." (icedvanill64771)

We have 74 reviews, averaging 5.0, and many more satisfied customers.

When something goes wrong

Things do go wrong occasionally. One reviewer, alvinvin88, put it plainly: "There were some hiccups with the process and he quickly rectified it." This is how we put things right.

  1. Report it from your order page. Use the Report a problem button within 30 days of collection or delivery. Choose what went wrong, describe it in a sentence, and attach a photo if you can.
  2. Get a written answer on the same page. Your report reaches us straight away, and the reply is on your order page, so nothing depends on an email finding the right inbox.
  3. We reprint it free. A wrong or defective print is reprinted at no cost, up to 2 free reprints per order for reasonable adjustments. If a reprint won't put it right, we refund you instead, to the PayNow account you paid from.

If a print fails because of a machine issue on our end, we reprint it at no extra cost. If the problem is in the design, such as walls that are too thin, we'll tell you and suggest a fix before reprinting.

What the guarantee doesn't cover

  • Cosmetic characteristics of FDM printing, such as visible layer lines, faint seams or slight colour variation between batches.
  • A part that printed exactly as modelled but doesn't fit, because of the design supplied. We flag any design risk we can see before printing, but we print what you send.

The full policy is on our returns page.
