How Ordering Works: Upload, Quote, Pay and Track

Our order flow step by step: an instant slicer-based quote, what drives the price, what a person checks, PayNow payment and tracking on your order page.

How Ordering Works: Upload, Quote, Pay and Track

Ordering a 3D print from us takes four steps: upload your file, check the instant quote, pay by PayNow, and follow the order on its own page until you collect it or it arrives. There's no "email us and wait for a price" stage, and nothing gets added to the bill later.

This guide walks through each step, explains what's calculated automatically and what a person checks, and covers what you'll see on your order page.

The order flow at a glance

StepWhat you doWhat happens on our side
1. UploadDrop in a file or paste a model linkWe read the model and show a 3D preview
2. Configure and quotePick material, colour, supports, quantity and a collection dateWe slice the model and price it from the result
3. Review and payPay a 50% PayNow deposit or the full amountA sliced quote is ready to pay straight away; an estimated quote is confirmed by a person first
4. Track and collectFollow the order page or Telegram updatesWe check the file by hand, print, update the status, then hand over or ship

Step 1: Upload your file

Go to the quote page and drop in your model. We accept:

  • STL, 3MF and OBJ meshes.
  • STEP and IGES straight from CAD. We convert them on our side, so you don't need to convert to STL first.
  • ZIP files with several parts. Assemblies are split into parts and each part is priced on its own.
  • A MakerWorld or Printables link instead of a file, if you found the model online.

Files can be up to 100 MB each. 3MF is the best choice when you have it, because it carries units, colour and multi-part information in one file. You can also send an STL or 3MF through our Telegram bot. You don't need to sign up to check a price. If you do sign in, your files are kept in a file library so you can re-quote a part months later.

Step 2: Configure the print and see the price

Once the model loads, you can rotate the 3D preview and see it on the build plate. Then choose:

  • Material and colour from what we have in stock. Multi-colour 3MF files get one colour slot per filament, which you map to stocked colours.
  • Supports and quantity.
  • A collection date from the live production calendar.

The price updates as you change things, so you can compare PLA against PETG, or one copy against ten, before you commit.

What drives the price

Every quote is built the same way:

  • Material: how much filament your model actually uses, at that material's rate.
  • Machine time: how long the print takes.
  • A flat setup fee, and a minimum charge for very small prints.
  • Extras only where they apply: a small surcharge for multi-colour jobs, and a flat handling fee for carbon-fibre materials, which need drying and a hardened nozzle. Both are shown on the quote.

Quantity discounts apply automatically as the order grows. For worked examples and typical prices, read how much 3D printing costs in Singapore.

What's exact and what's checked by a person

Being clear about this avoids surprises.

Calculated from your file

The instant price comes from actually slicing your model in Bambu Studio, with the same settings we print with. The filament weight and print time behind it are the real numbers, not a guess from the model's volume. A geometric estimate is used only if slicing isn't available.

Reviewed by hand

Every model is checked by a person before it goes on a printer. This is our free file check. If a part looks too thin to survive its job, badly oriented, or more expensive than it needs to be, we tell you and suggest a fix before printing, not after. If your price came from an estimate rather than a slice, a person confirms it on your order page before the PayNow code appears.

Dates

Collection dates depend on machine availability. If we can't hit the date you picked, we'll say so before you pay anything.

Step 3: Pay by PayNow

You have two options:

  • A 50% PayNow deposit to start production, with the balance on completion.
  • 100% upfront.

The PayNow QR code is on your order page. Until payment is received, you can cancel at no cost using the Cancel button beside the PayNow code. Once we receive payment, printing starts.

Organisations can also order with a purchase order. We're registered on Vendors@Gov and the SAP Ariba Network, and quotations and invoices are itemised. See the business page for supplier IDs.

Ordering a batch? Start with one

For a batch, you can order a single sample print first at the normal price. Test it, check the fit, and then order the rest knowing exactly what you'll get. For larger runs, message us on Telegram about bulk pricing.

Need it urgently?

Tell us your deadline when you quote. Short prints of under 3–4 hours can often be collected the same day. If a deadline means your job has to jump the queue, a rush surcharge may apply. It's always agreed upfront, never added afterwards.

Step 4: Track your order

Every order has its own page, linked from your confirmation email. You can also find it any time on the track page. From it you can:

  1. Follow the status from deposit, to printing, to ready, to shipped (with a tracking number) or collected.
  2. Pay your deposit or balance by PayNow QR.
  3. Add your collection date to your calendar.
  4. Get updates on Telegram.
  5. Report a problem, with a photo, within 30 days.
  6. Reorder a paid job later at today's price, as long as the model file is still on file.

Collection or delivery

Self-collection from our Woodlands workshop, near Admiralty MRT, is free. Message ahead so we're there. Islandwide delivery is also available for a fee.

If something's wrong

If a print is wrong or defective, use the Report a problem button on your order page within 30 days of collection or delivery. You get a written answer on the same page, and we reprint it free, or refund you if a reprint won't put it right. The full policy is on our returns page.

Quick FAQ

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can check a price without signing up. Signing in adds order history and a file library.

Can the price change after I order?

No. The price on your order page is the price you pay, and an estimated quote is confirmed before you can pay it. A rush surcharge, if one applies, is agreed upfront. Nothing is added after the fact.

How long does an order take?

Most orders are ready in 24–48 hours, and short prints can often be collected the same day. The live calendar shows open dates.

Can I cancel?

Yes, free of charge, for as long as the order is still awaiting payment.
