What is PETG?

PETG strikes an excellent balance between strength, flexibility, and ease of printing. It offers superior layer adhesion and impact resistance compared to PLA, along with good chemical and moisture resistance. A versatile all-rounder for functional parts.

PETG bridges the gap between hobby and engineering: tougher than PLA, more impact-resistant, and shrugs off moisture and most household chemicals. It's our go-to recommendation for parts that have to actually do something — mounting brackets, enclosures, jigs, food-contact containers (food-safe grades). We stock PETG in clear, black, white, and a rotating set of colours, with same-day printing for orders placed before midday.

From our workshop

PETG strings more than PLA — fine for closed shapes, but on detailed text or fine pillars you'll see whiskers that need trimming. We auto-tune retraction per geometry, but for parts where surface finish matters most (display pieces, photographic models), PLA is usually a better pick.
