Nylon (PA) is one of the toughest FDM materials, offering exceptional fatigue resistance and self-lubricating properties. Ideal for gears, hinges, and parts subject to repeated stress. It is hygroscopic and must be stored dry for reliable printing results.
Nylon is the closest 3D printing gets to injection-molded engineering plastic. We use it for gears, brackets that take real load, snap-fit assemblies that need to flex without cracking, and replacement parts for tools or appliances. It's stronger than PETG, more impact-resistant than ASA, and self-lubricating — making it the right choice for moving mechanical parts. Available in black and natural (off-white).

- ✗ Expensive compared to PLA/PETG
Key properties
From our workshop
Nylon absorbs moisture from Singapore's humid air aggressively — we dry every spool for several hours before printing and recommend you store finished parts in a sealed bag with desiccant if dimensions matter long-term. Cost per gram is the highest of the standard materials; quote may take a few minutes longer because we double-check geometry for trapped-moisture risks.
